I'm going to be nineteen in August and i'm currently in my second semester of college (CC) I'm completely unsure about what I want to major in because I feel like i'm not seeing all of my options. Are there some majors or careers that I may not know about that suit my personality? I'm interested in art and creativity such as music, photography, design, films, and writing. I've always been interested in the unexplainable things in history. I don't know so much about it, but I am definitely fascinated by the past. For example, when I was in elementary school I would spend countless hours reading about things such as Salem witches and Jack the ripper. I'm very interested in the supernatural and again, the unexplainable. I love films and i'm deeply fascinated about the writing and directing aspect of them. I am mostly into horror and psychological thrillers. I am a big fan of J horror movies (Japanese for those who don't know what J horror is.) I have always wanted to learn another language. I would consider Japanese, Hebrew, or a really ancient language (i'm not sure exactly which because I really have no idea what my options are, but ancient things do fascinate me to the core.) Can anyone come up with a few suggestions or some advice about what I've said? I'm really anxious to hear about the different things that weren't brought to my attention before. I don't care if it's a major that wouldn't get me a job anywhere. I want to do what I love and making a ton of money off a career doesn't matter to me. I know some people will think "well in times like these you can't afford to care." But really, I am only in college because I actually want to learn not because it's so called "required" to make a decent living. Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.... Read More »
